Abstract

The instability of the world economy, business competition in the era of free trade, increasing and varying consumer demands pose challenges for companies to survive in the business world. A robust supply chain system is considered a strategic decision for companies because this process has a major contribution in creating competitive advantage. However, the supply chain process is not free from risk because of the many strategic decisions made by the company. To anticipate risks that occur, companies implement risk management when creating strategies for the supply chain process. However, risk management cannot be separated from new problems, namely the existence of relationships between risks and other causes of risk, and relationships between one cause of risk and other causes of risk. For this reason, this research carries out an analysis of the interrelationships between these by applying House of Risk (HOR). As a case study, this research applies to the supply chain of PT. Aneka Coffee Industry. Based on the results of the analysis, 66 causes of risk were obtained. Of the 66 causes of risk, mitigation actions are then carried out. The results of identifying mitigation actions showed that 10 mitigation actions were proposed sequentially from highest priority to mitigate 10 priority risk causes, including: improving the barcode system; Implementing a more integrated information sharing system; Prior information regarding stock availability to consumers; A more systematic scheduling system; Regular information on developments regarding vendors; Coordination with consumers, suppliers for production flexibility; Training and Refreshment; Creating low product products with SNI Instant coffee standards; Maintenance system is more organized; More synchronous between production and the materials to be used.
