Abstract

This study examines the influence of organizational climate on employee performance with transformational leadership as a moderator variable. The research objective is to find empirical evidence about (a) the influence of organizational climate on employee performance; (b) transformational leadership strengthens the influence of organizational climate on employee performance. The respondents of this research are permanent employees of PTPN XI (PERSERO) PG. Semboro, with a population of 325 people and a random sample of 76 people. Data collection was carried out for 1 month, from May - June 2014. Of the 76 questionnaires submitted, 76 questionnaires were received back and filled out completely (100%), this research used a random sampling technique. Data collection using a list of statements adopted from previous researchers. The collected data was processed using linear regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA) methods. The results of the research are (1) organizational climate has a positive effect on employee performance, (2) transformational leadership strengthens the influence of organizational climate on employee performance at PG Semboro.
