Abstract
This research analyzes the influence of job satisfaction and motivation on performance with organizational commitment as an intervening variable in employees of the Plant Section of the Djatiroto Sugar Factory. Employee performance can decrease because employee job satisfaction and work motivation decreases. This research is a quantitative research using proportioned stratified random sampling technique in data collection. Data was obtained by conducting a survey of 67 respondents, employees of the Djatiroto Sugar Factory Plant Section. The data analysis method uses Partial Least Square (PLS) with the SmartPLS v 2.0 program. The test results show that job satisfaction has a significant effect on performance, motivation has a significant effect on performance, job satisfaction has a significant effect on performance with organizational commitment as an intervening variable, and motivation has a significant effect on performance with organizational commitment as an intervening variable. The organizational commitment variable fully mediates the relationship between job satisfaction and performance and the relationship between motivation and performance.
