Abstract

PT Perkebunan Nusantara To increase competitive advantage with other companies that have the same commodities, currently PT Perkebunan Nusantara The new performance appraisal system uses indicators contained in the KPI (Key Performance Indicators) for each employee. This research aims to see the effect of satisfaction with the performance appraisal system on employee performance with intrinsic motivation and affective commitment as mediator variables. The respondents in this research were 59 employees in class III-IV at the Head Office of PT Perkebunan Nusantara XI (Persero), who were taken using probability sampling techniques. Hypothesis testing in this research uses path analysis using the Amos program. The research results show that satisfaction with the performance appraisal system has no significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, satisfaction with the performance appraisal system has a direct and significant effect on employees' intrinsic motivation and affective commitment. The effect of satisfaction with the performance appraisal system on performance which is mediated by intrinsic motivation and affective commitment is proven to be insignificant.
