Abstract
CV Apart from that, the workload of the Head of the Department is considered to be the same as the workload of the employees below him, which means that the compensation received by the Head of the Department and his employees is the same, only the allowances differ. However, the workload for each position level is not entirely the same. This research aims to formulate a compensation system design that is in line with CV XYZ's vision, mission, goals and strategies for each position level. The compensation system design includes the basic salary, allowances, benefits and bonuses that CV XYZ employees will receive. Compensation system design begins with conducting interviews with key sources regarding CV XYZ's vision, mission, goals and strategy, then continues with compiling a compensation system. The preparation of the compensation system will start with job analysis, job evaluation using the Hay method to determine the weight at each position level, external surveys in general industry and the coconut oil industry, compensation structure, and finally the management compensation system where the compensation design will be equipped with benefits and bonuses. This research is an exploratory research using a qualitative approach based on a case study. The types and sources of data used are company archive records and documentation, interview reports. Key informants in this research are the General Manager, section heads and employees in each division. The result of this research is a compensation system design that contains basic salary, allowances, benefits and bonuses for employees at each position level.
