Abstract

Company culture is an important factor that influences employee performance. Company culture will have a more complete influence on employee performance if employees have affective organizational commitment. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of corporate culture on the performance of plantation foremen and to analyze the influence of corporate culture on the performance of plantation foremen through affective organizational commitment as an intervening variable. This research was aimed at garden foremen as employees in the plant department at the Jatiroto sugar factory, Lumajang. The research results show that there is a significant influence between corporate culture and employee performance and a significant influence also occurs on the relationship between corporate culture and employee performance with affective organizational commitment as an intervening variable.
