Abstract

To create jobs, it requires someone with an entrepreneurial spirit. By looking at the current phenomenon where jobs that are available are not comparable to college graduates, so expect college graduates capable of creating jobs, not even looking for work. With so expect the graduates of the college can provide many benefits to the society in which he lives because it has the ability to revive the economy. The objectives of this research was to determine whether factors significantly influence entrepreneurial risk taking in Airlangga University students, to determine whether risk taking has a significant effect on the desire for entrepreneurship in students and to determine whether factors significantly influence entrepreneurial desire for entrepreneurship in students. Factors of entrepreneurship in the study include family background, education and academic support, internal locus of control, tolerance of ambiguity, the nature of innovation, and the latter need for achievement. Research subjects in this study were all students who took the Airlangga University Student Entrepreneurial Program (PMW). The results can be found in significant variables that influence the nature of innovation on the desire for entrepreneurship in students at Airlangga University Surabaya. There is a significant effect of educational variables and academic support, tolerance of ambiguity, and the nature of risk-taking innovation to the students of Airlangga University in Surabaya.
