Abstract
This research aims to show empirical evidence regarding the influence of financial distress and company ownership structure on turnover management of public companies on the IDX from 2007 to 2011. The data used in this research is secondary data originating from the Indonesia Capital Market Directory and the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis technique used in this research is logistic regression with a sample size of 88 companies. The estimation results show that financial distress, institutional ownership and public ownership have a significant positive effect on turnover management, while managerial ownership has a negative and insignificant effect on turnover management.
