Abstract

To be able to achieve its best performance, organizations need to strive to gain competitive advantage. One of the advantages obtained from employees is extra-role behavior (Organizational Citizenship Behavior or OCB). In realizing this behavior, other supporting factors are needed, namely Servant Leadership and Organizational Commitment. The population of this study were employees of Petra Christian University. This study uses a stratified proportional random sampling method. Technical analysis to test the research hypothesis was carried out using path analysis supported by the SPSS program. In this research, it was found that Organizational Commitment had a significant effect on OCB, and Servant Leadership did not have a significant effect on OCB. But Servant Leadership can influence OCB, through the role of Organizational Commitment as an intervening variable.
