School of Journalism is an annual work program from the LPPM FEB UNAIR Sector. This year, the training which invited three resource persons carried the theme 'Flaming with Pen and Camera'. This event was held in the Mindrowo Hall FEB UNAIR on Saturday (8/9). Apart from being attended by representatives of FEB UNAIR student organizations, this event also invited students from outside FEB and UNAIR. Three sources, namely Moh. Wahyu representing students, Musahada representing journalists, and Wirasakti Setyawan representing social influencers .

    This event opened with remarks from the event chairman and chairman of the LPPM FEB UNAIR Sector, followed by a teaser video screening. The aim of holding this event is to ignite the enthusiasm of the invitees to create works both through writing and drawings, especially photos. In his material, the first speaker was Moh. Wahyu talked about his experience of being rejected for his writing but it didn't make him give up. This student majoring in physics actually feels more enthusiastic about writing quality writing, because in the future it is through writing that humans will be remembered.

    Next, the second material was delivered by Musahada or familiarly called Mbak Uus. He is the editor of Surya Online who has been involved in the world of journalism for a long time. Being a reporter like him requires expertise and bears responsibility regarding a code of ethics. The closing material was delivered by Wirasakti Setyawan, a social influencer who is also an accomplished photographer. The world of education for a Hero is not only limited to grades, but also various opportunities to explore abilities. In between delivering the material, a discussion session was also opened, the participants looked enthusiastic because vouchers were also distributed to those who actively asked questions. The presentation of mementos and group photos closed this event. The hope is that the School of Journalism participants will gain the knowledge that has been conveyed by the three speakers.
