PMDC (PERBANAS Marketing Debate Competition) 2018
PERBANAS Marketing Debate Competition (PMDC) is an annual event organized by the PERBANAS Kuningan Management Student Association, South Jakarta. This event was held to bring together economics and business students as well as an opportunity to convey ideas and solutions offered related to the world of marketing.
This year's PMDC has a big theme, namely "Integrated Digital Economy" . This theme was raised in accordance with the momentum of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 which was planned to be a new tool in industry where the majority of activities in industry can be digitalized by increasing business efficiency and effectiveness.
This agenda has four stages, starting with the preliminary round which was attended by 32 teams from various universities in Indonesia and consists of 3 stages, namely Prelims 1, 2 and 3. The next round is the semifinals which were participated by the 10 best teams, followed by the final round which was followed by by the 5 best teams and the grand final round which was attended by the 3 best teams to compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The teams that made it to the final round were Telkom University (Team 1), Padjadjaran University, Universitas Airlangga , Telkom University (Team 3) and STIE YKPN (Team 1). Of the 5 teams in the final round, 3 teams were selected to continue to the grand final round, namely Telkom University (Team 1), Padjadjaran University and Universitas Airlangga . The final result of the competition was that Universitas Airlangga was ranked 3rd and automatically became 3rd place in PMDC 2018, with the team named Yuliandi Fikri, Development Economics Study Program, class of 2015, Hasbi Ashshidiqi, D3 Taxation Study Program, class of 2015, and Zuama Putri Nilakandi, Management Study Program, class of 2016.
