Associationliterature rev feb unair initiated the activity "Systematic Literature Review through Watase Uake for Research Development" on May 30 & May 31 2024 by presenting resource person Dr.
Lilik Wahyudi, SE, M.Si who is the Project Leader of WATASE UAKE, who is also a Lecturer at Sebelas Maret University. Considering that in today's rapidly developing information era, scientific literature has become one of the most valuable sources of knowledge for researchers, academics and practitioners in various fields. However, with the number of publications increasing every year, navigating and filtering relevant information is becoming increasingly challenging. To overcome these challenges, a systemic approach in conducting literature reviews is essential. A systemic literature review, or Systemic Literature Review (SLR), is a systematic and comprehensive method for identifying, evaluating, and synthesizing existing knowledge in a particular research field.
This method allows researchers to understand in depth the latest developments, trends, key findings, and gaps in the scientific literature. Although the importance of systemic literature reviews is widely recognized, limitations in understanding and practical skills in applying them remain a problem for most researchers and students. Most training literature still focuses on traditional approaches, without providing an adequate understanding of the specific methodologies and techniques associated with SLR. Therefore, providing training in the field of Systemic Literature Review (SLR) is relevant and important to improve the quality of research and understanding in various fields of science.
This training will provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out a Systemic Literature Review (SLR) well, as well as promote the use of this method in order to improve the quality and relevance of research. Students will gain an understanding of: 1. Identification of Appropriate Topics/Themes
2. PRISMA Method for Article Screening
3. Article Retrieval Technique
4. SPAR-4-SLR Method for Article Extraction and Classification
5. Novelty Seeking and Gap Analysis
6. Hypothesis Network Analysis for Model Construction
7. Integration of SLR with Watase Survey
8. Watase Data Analysis and Automatic Analysis Reporting
9. Thematic Text for Paper Preparation
10. Watase Reporting for Meta Analysis
11. Academic Course for Data Networking
By understanding this background, we prepared a proposal for organizing systemic literature review training, which aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the concepts, methodology and best practices in conducting a Systemic Literature Review (SLR)
