SOCIAL ACTION (AKSOS) is a social agenda organized by the Universitas Airlangga Accounting Student Association. During the 2018 period, AKSOS was held six times with targets ranging from children in orphanages to elderly women in nursing homes.
AKSOS March was held on March 16 2018 at SDLB AKW Kumara II. The event starts at 08.30, starting with chicken dance exercises. Almost all students at SDLB AKW Kumara II showed their enthusiasm and enthusiasm by coming forward imitating the chicken dance. The event then continued with watching the film 'Magic Pan' which ended with a quiz with prizes. No less exciting than the chicken dance game, the students also competed with each other to come forward to answer questions. The event closed with games along with songs which were no less enthusiastic. The whole event ran smoothly, the younger and younger siblings from SDLB AKW Kumara II were also very active and happy.
AKSOS April was held on April 28 in the area around Ambengan. AKSOS's activity this time is teaching. Initially the Ambengan adek adek were divided into two camps, namely the elementary school camp which made crafts from used bottles and the kindergarten camp which learned to count with volunteers. Of the approximately 70 Ambengan sisters who attended, both elementary school children who made crafts with various kinds of creations and kindergarten children who answered questions from volunteers to get candy prizes showed great enthusiasm. Likewise, the volunteers who are no less enthusiastic at AKSOS 2.0 have patiently taught the Ambengan brothers and sisters to make crafts and learn to count.
AKSOS May was held on May 18 2018 at the Indonesian Orphanage. The event started at 16.30, starting with making Eid greeting cards. The enthusiasm of the brothers and sisters of the Indonesian Orphanage can be seen from the greeting card creations they made. Some are decorated with diamonds, mosques, and even large trucks which are helped by volunteers. While waiting for the evening call to prayer, there were quizzes about Islam which were no less exciting than making greeting cards beforehand. The little brothers and sisters from the Orphan Foundation immediately scrambled to answer questions from the MC when the questions were read out. This social gathering ended with breaking the fast together and closed with prayers led directly by the management of the Indonesian Orphanage
AKSOS September was held on September 7 2018 in the Gemblongan area. The event starts at 19.00 which begins with a style guessing game. The volunteers demonstrated their style in their entirety and the Gemblongan brothers and sisters were no less enthusiastic about competing with each other to answer. After getting tired of games, the event continued with reading a story to commemorate Literacy Day, about giving thanks in turn.
AKSOS October was held on October 13 2018 at the Hargo Dedali Foundation. The event started at 09.00 WIB with karaoke songs sung ranging from national songs to old songs. After that, the event continued with making bracelets. Even though they are old, the old ladies there are still enthusiastic and diligent in inserting the beads one by one into the strings. The event ended with volunteers and grandmothers sitting together by playing games, namely playing things accompanied by songs and when the song stopped, they could tell stories, sing, or so on.
And the last AKSOS in this period was held on November 23 2018 in the Keputih Social Pondok Environment. The event began with a circular introduction of the people present and continued with karaoke which was greeted with enthusiasm by Liponsos residents. After burning the enthusiasm of the Liponsos residents and volunteers, the event continued with playing games that were no less exciting, namely circle games - Pancoran statue - riding a motorbike taxi - flower buds - rowing which trained the focus and speed of movement of the volunteers and Liponsos residents. The smiles and laughter of the Liponsos residents broke out in this game. After getting tired of moving following the MC's orders, the event continued by making a collage that formed the letters AKS1 from soybeans, using chopsticks to make it more challenging, between volunteers and Liponsos residents, as a form that we are one, we must care for each other and help each other.
