Inside the building there is a visitor room which contains a lot of information about Bank Indonesia. Next, after the tour at Bank Indonesia we continued our next visit to the BUMN Ministry office which is located on Jl Merdeka Selatan. We were greeted directly by the BUMN office administrator . A visit to the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises broke our stigma regarding rigid and bureaucratic government offices. They welcomed us with great friendliness. It was also explained that the system at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises office had kept up with the times, which were sophisticated and innovative, full of demands for creativity. It seems that the Ministry of BUMN is holding a large recruitment drive this year. After explaining the career overview, the session continued with a session on the financial system at the Ministry of BUMN. The session closed with a photo session and food distribution.

After visiting the Ministry of BUMN, in the evening we went to the TV-One studio which is located in the Angkasa Pura Building in the Merpati area. Unlike other visits, we went to the TV-One studio not to get material but to be involved in a LIVE broadcast at the Indonesia Business Forum event which discussed the increase in import taxes. Before the event started, we received food from Tv One and then continued with a short briefing from Kak Ano, the representative there. There were 5 resource persons present at that time, namely Ngakan Antara as Head of the Industrial Research and Development Agency, Hestu Yoga Saksama as Director of Counseling, Services and Public Relations (P2Humas) of the Directorate General of Taxes, Sinta Widjaja as Deputy Chair of APINDO, Rizal Ramli as a senior economist and Wilgo Zainar as member of Commission IX DPR RI.

In this event which consisted of 4 segments, we had the extraordinary experience of seeing and listening directly to the opinions of experts and officials regarding tax tariff policy. From usually only learning about taxation theoretically in college, we have the extraordinary opportunity to find out directly from experts. The event hosted by Brigita Manoharaini looked exciting and interesting.

We have been on foot for two days, exploring Jakarta and its hustle and bustle. Gain knowledge, expand knowledge, gain experience about several companies in Jakarta. On the third day, we visited 2 companies that were no less large. The first is PT Prudential Life Assurance. After breakfast, a group of us immediately rushed to PT Prudential. There, we were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Eva, a representative of Pru University. He explained briefly about the organization, organizational structure and career path at PT Prudential. Before walking further, we were treated to a box of snacks to satisfy our hunger.

Then his friend continued with the basic knowledge and superior products of PT Prudential. After that, the representative from the finance department, Kak Linda, explained briefly about the financial system there. Short, interesting, and full of new knowledge, that's what we got there. After that, our activities continued with Friday prayers first. After completing prayers for women, we continued our journey to KAP Deloitte which is located at Plaza Indonesia. It was an extraordinary experience to be given the opportunity to visit there. We were greeted with a warm smile and full of professionalism. Our session was of course equipped with a box of light snacks from KAP Deloitte as our companion for learning. We met Mr. Richard, an Universitas Airlangga Accounting alumni who had a successful career at KAP Deloitte, and even became a partner of KAP Deloitte. We learned many things, starting about KAP Deloitte itself, its advantages, organizational structure, career path, internship path, and tips and tricks for working at KAP Deloitte.

It was already afternoon when we finished visiting KAP Deloitte. We immediately rushed back to the hotel and were given the opportunity for the participants to do their own activities freely.

It's been three days since we greeted Jakarta. There are ups and downs, hunger and heat often come, but happiness and laughter never give up accompanying us. Different experiences, new knowledge, and an increasingly real enthusiasm for learning have really been obtained. The warm kinship of the participants and committee, the friendly people in the company, the comfort of the shelter, the delicious food that fills the stomach, that's what makes Company Visit 2018 different. Really don't know where else to go to get this experience, unique and interesting.

After arriving on the last day, we immediately packed up all our things and rushed back to Surabaya. Bring knowledge and experience, to then share with friends who always need it. While together cultivating a future full of hope through the knowledge we gained from the 2018 Company Visit.
