(BEM News) Tuesday, 18 February 2025 - Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB Unair) received academic visits from Surabaya Mujahidin High School and Thursina International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) - Malang. This activity aims to provide insight into the world of lectures, especially in the economic and business fields, to students who are preparing themselves to continue their education to a higher level.
The group from Mujahidin High School was led by Ms. Desi Anisa Rachma, S.Pd., as Deputy Head of the Curriculum, while Thursina IIBS High School was represented by Mr. Wildan Pradistya Putra, M.Pd., GR., As the coordinator of the domestic tertiary institution. Their arrival was warmly welcomed by the ranks of FEB Unair. The event took place in the Soepoyo Hall, 3rd Floor Feb Unair.
The event began with a remarks and presentation of Feb Unair's profile delivered by Muhammad Syaikh Rohman, SE., M.Ec. He explained about the academic excellence as well as the achievements achieved by FEB Unair and various superior programs offered by the faculty to prospective students.
Next, Dr. Dien Mardhiyah, SE., M.Sc. provide a presentation on management study programs. He explained the curriculum, career prospects, as well as various academic and non-academic activities that could be attended by FEB Unair management students.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Fadlur Rahman Bayuny, Sei., M.Sc.IBF., Ph.D. Introducing the Islamic Economic Study Program (EKIS). In this session, he explained the concept of sharia -based economy, graduate career potential, and how this program contributed to the development of Islamic economics in Indonesia.
This activity is expected to provide broader insight to students about the choice of studies in tertiary institutions, as well as inspire them in determining further academic steps. With this visit, FEB Unair continues to be committed to becoming an educational partner that supports the development of prospective quality and highly competitive students.
