The Hima EP 2020 Brotherhood Cross (LPH) is an activity that aims to introduce new students to the world of college. LPH 2020 will be held online in six sessions starting with the Welome Party on 12 September 2020 and ending with the LPH Closing which will be held on 19 December 2020. LPH Session 1 on 26 September 2020, LPH Session 2 on 10 October 2020 , LPH Session 3 on 24 October 2020, LPH Session 4 on 7 November 2020, LPH Session 5 on 21 November 2020, and LPH Session 6 on 5 December 2020. The 2020 HIMA Cross Brotherhood (LPH) series of events will be held based on several values, namely the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, and EP SOLID.
The values included in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education are education, community service, and research and development. Educational values will be presented through the Bridging program at the Welcome Party, LPH Session 1, and LPH Session 2 sub-events. In these sub-events, new students will receive material in the field of education such as academic information during lectures, scholarships, job prospects for study program graduates Development Economics, and others. This material will be presented by several speakers, both lecturers and students. The value of research and development will be carried out with infographic creation activities. By making infographics, new students are expected to be able to practice critical thinking and be active in understanding and conveying their infographics. Meanwhile, for the community service value, new students will be given the task of making a community service video. This task aims to implement gratitude or a sense of solidarity while helping people in need around them.
The next values are culture, kinship and pride. Where these values are sub-values of EP SOLID. The culture in question is EP culture, so new students will be given a deeper introduction to the Development Economics major. Material with cultural value will be presented at the Welcome Party, LPH Session 4, LPH Session 5, and LPH Session 6. The materials at these sub-events will be presented by Development Economics students from several classes. Meanwhile, the values of family and pride will be conveyed when welcoming new students majoring in Development Economics, conducting inaugurations, and other LPH activities that require cooperation and solidarity.
