The Bridging Program is a campus introduction program for new students regarding the
development economics major, knowledge of campus activities in terms of academics, scientific writing competitions,
and career paths. The aim of this program is to minimize culture shock for new students, help
students adapt quickly, increase independence and responsibility, introduce the
development economics study program and its future prospects, provide tips for achievement during college, and
provide direction regarding academics in Development Economics.
The Bridging program activity contains a presentation by a development economics lecturer which contains descriptions
of studying in Development Economics, then there is a Forum Group Discussion forming
groups for sharing, each group is entered by upper semester students who are experienced
in the academic field, then the last one is working on assignments which have essence according to
the objectives of the Bridging Program.
