FEMFEST (Faculty of Economics and Management Festival) Darussalam Gontor University

FEMFEST (Faculty of Economics & Management Festival) is an annual event organized by the Faculty of Economics and Management, Darussalam Gontor University which is located at Jalan Raya Siman, Number Km 6, Dusun I, Siman, Ponorogo Regency, East Java. The theme taken in FEMFEST 2.0 is "Generating Islamic Sustainable Economic Development through the Synergy of Sharia Financial Institutions and Islamic Entrepreneurship". The competitions held at FEMFEST 2.0 include: Business Model Canvas, Marketing Debate, International Economics Debate, Intelligent Quiz, and Call for Paper.

Universitas Airlangga students participated in one of a series of FEMFEST 2.0 events, namely the International Islamic Economics Olympiad competition by sending 11 students to two different competition branches, including Intelligent Quiz and Call for Paper. Intelligent Quiz is an Islamic quiz competition which is related to how students are able to think and analyze Islamic economic problems, both classical and contemporary. Meanwhile, the Call for Paper itself is a scientific writing competition with the theme "Fostering Islamic Economics Within Digitalization to Increase Nation's Welfare" which has three sub-themes, namely Islamic Commercial Finance, Islamic Financial Technology, and Islamic Social Finance.

The series of FEMFEST 2.0 events on the first day, 18 February 2019, were the National Conference on Islamic Economics and Management, Tabligh Akbar by the East Java MUI Secretary, Marketing Debate, and the preliminary round for the International Islamic Economics Debate and Intelligent Quiz. On the second day, 19 February 2019, there was Training of Trainers, Business Model Canvas, presentation of work results from the Call for Paper competition branch, as well as the final round of the International Islamic Economics Debate and Intelligent Quiz. On the last day, 20 February 2019, there was a National Seminar where one of the speakers came from Malaysia and closed with the Faculty of Economics & Management Award.

The delegation from Universitas Airlangga consisting of 4 teams won champions in each branch of the competition. The first branch of the competition was Call For Paper which was attended by:
