FEB NEWS) Career Week 2024 activities were successfully held on Wednesday and Thursday 18-19 September 2024 at the Fadjar Notonegoro Hall and Classroom 202. There were four sessions that were successfully held, namely Career Talkshow, Job Fair, Walk-in Interview , and CV Review.
At the start of the event, the event was opened with remarks by the Chief Executive, Erisa Aprillia. President of BEM FEB UNAIR, Ghufron Ariawan. Dean of FEB UNAIR, Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., M.Si., Ak., CMA., CA. Secretary General of IKAFE, Dr. Zaki Basalamah., SE., M.Sc. At the same time, the ribbon was cut as a symbolic opening of the event which was attended by 19 companies.
The first session began with a Career Talkshow with the theme "Starting Point for Finding Job Opportunities". This session was filled by Chintya Inggriani as a resource person who shared her career experiences and provided tips and tricks for the participants in the career world. Continued in the next session, there was a Jobfair from 19 companies and a CV Review by the DPKKA UNAIR team. Participants can also take part in the selection process directly through the Walk-in Interview session from several companies that were also present at the Job Fair session.
The 2024 Career Week activities organized by the BEM FEB UNAIR Professional Development Department are expected to build strong relationships with companies, expand insight into career opportunities, and dig deeper into the latest industry needs. It is hoped that the more than 250 participants who attended will be able to increase their competitiveness, hone relevant soft skills and hard skills, and find a career path that suits their interests and potential, so that they can contribute optimally to the world of work and society.
