Grand Opening is an activity held by the Education Business division of WEBS UNAIR with the aim of opening all series of training programs consisting of School of Internal Business, Competition Consultant, and Scholarship Consultant as facilities that will be obtained by active WEBS members. The Grand Opening event was held on Wednesday, February 13 2020 at the Mindrowo Hall. Attended by WEBS members, the Grand Opening event started promptly at 18.30. This year's Grand Opening, Education Business invited speakers who were WEBS Alumni who focused on the fields of Business and Achievement. Deffa Lovita, one of the speakers at the Grand Opening who successfully obtained funding of IDR 20,000,000 through the PMW program (Entrepreneurial Student Program) held by PPKK with Business in the MUA sector, namely Brushes.bydef. The event was even more complete by presenting a successful speaker in the field of Achievement at the Grand Opening, namely Haflan Alfiri Widrayat. Outstanding Students (Mawapres) of the Faculty of Economics and Business who have received various achievements in writing competitions. Even more interesting, Haflan was successful as a delegate from Indonesia at the Harvard University Project for Asian International Relations. The Grand Opening event was filled with a series of knowledge sharing, providing material for submitting PMW proposals and also providing tips and tricks on how to become a successful young entrepreneur. It closed by giving prizes to participants who actively asked questions in a series of events and taking photos together with the speakers as the closing series at the Grand Opening of SOB, SC, CC 2020.
SOB itself is the main work program in the Education Business division. SOB is a series of business mentoring activities for active WEBS internal members who are guided by WEBS alumni who have successfully run their businesses. In a series, active internal WEBS members will be given various materials and direct practice in the field.
