Andrew Alvaro Harun is a Development Economics undergraduate study program student who won first place as an outstanding student (Mawapres) at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga . Andrew took part in the selection of outstanding students in October 2020. This selection process consists of several stages. Each Mawapres participant must present written work in English, take a psychological test, have experience in both academic and non-academic competitions, and have organizational experience. After going through various selection stages, Andrew was finally able to beat 10 other candidates and become first place in outstanding students at faculty level. Furthermore, Andrew will be the representative of the Faculty of Economics and Business to take part in the competition for outstanding students at university level in 2021.
Andrew is a student from the class of 2018 who is active in various activities. One of Andrew's activities was joining the Student Executive Board (BEM) FEB Universitas Airlangga . In this organization, Andrew served as deputy chairman of BEM FEB Universitas Airlangga . This organization provides Andrew with the opportunity and experience to hone his skills, especially leadership. Apart from that, Andrew has participated in student outbound held at Management and Science University . Andrew has experience as a delegate for the International Monetary Fund at the Bali Asia International Model United Nation . Armed with this organizational experience and achievements, the Department of Economics hopes that Andrew can become the Mawapres champion at university level.
