ACTOR (AcSES Tutor)
Interactive Learning Assistance Program to Improve Student Understanding of Material and Readiness in Facing Mid-Term and Final Exams.

On Saturday, April 10, 2026, and Sunday, April 11, 2026, the ACTOR (AcSES Tutor) activity was held online through the Zoom Meeting platform. This activity took place from 7:00 PM WIB to 8:55 PM WIB and was attended by students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga, especially from the Accounting, Management, Islamic Economics, and Economics Study Programs. This activity is intended for students who are preparing for the Mid-Semester Exam (UTS) and Final Exam (UAS), as well as for students who are having difficulty understanding certain lecture materials and need a more in-depth discussion of questions.

The ACTOR (AcSES Tutor) program is a work program of the Science Division of KSEI AcSES, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga which is present as a solution to various academic obstacles for students in facing learning evaluations. In the process of preparing for the mid-term and final exams, students often experience limited study time, lack of practice questions, minimal in-depth discussion of the material, and a lack of flexible and easily accessible academic discussion spaces. Through this program, AcSES strives to provide interactive online tutorial media to help improve student understanding of the material and prepare them for the exams.
The implementation of the activity began with an opening session led by the Master of Ceremony (MC) for approximately five minutes. In this session, the MC delivered an opening greeting, introduced the mentor who would guide the activity, and explained the flow of the activity from beginning to end. The opening atmosphere took place in an orderly and conducive manner, so that participants could understand the series of events well.

Next, the activity moved into the main session, which consisted of a presentation of material and discussion of questions by mentors for approximately 90 minutes. The material presented was tailored to the students' learning needs and focused on topics likely to arise in the mid-term and final exams. In this session, mentors not only explained key concepts but also systematically discussed sample questions to help participants better understand how to solve them. Through this session, participants were expected to strengthen their knowledge base, improve their analytical skills, and be better prepared for academic exams.

Following the presentation, the session continued with a 15-minute question-and-answer (Q&A) session. Participants were given the opportunity to ask questions about the material and any questions they didn't understand. Their enthusiasm was evident in the lively discussion that ensued throughout the session. Participants took advantage of this opportunity to deepen their understanding of material they found challenging, ensuring the session was interactive and tailored to students' learning needs.

The event concluded with a brief summary of the material discussed and additional information if needed. The event then continued with a documentation session. Participants were also required to complete an attendance form provided by the committee via Google Form, with the attendance link shared through their respective study program WhatsApp groups.

The ACTOR (AcSES Tutor) program aims to help students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga understand their course material, improve their exam preparation skills, boost their confidence in facing midterm and final exams, and facilitate students in overcoming learning difficulties through interactive question-solving sessions and discussions with mentors. Furthermore, this program also optimizes the learning process outside of formal lectures through the use of online media.

By implementing this activity, it is hoped that students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga can gain a better understanding of the material, have better preparation in facing exams, and be able to improve academic results optimally through a flexible, interactive learning process that is tailored to the needs of each student.

Thus, this report was made as official documentation of ACTOR (AcSES Tutor) activities.
