Bachelor of Accounting

In order to meet the specific target group, professional field, and societal context, the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program strives to produce graduates who have adequate knowledge and understanding in the field of accounting as well as possess critical, analytical, and systematic thinking, with a good moral and ethical compass. In addition, graduates have adequate competence not only in preparing financial and tax reports, but also in conducting audits. With these skills, along with other knowledge in the field of Business and Management, graduates of the Bachelor of Accounting program are ready to face real-world cases in the world of work. In curriculum development, the Bachelor of Accounting program follows IES-IFAC for accounting majors in order to provide a global curriculum that is in accordance with global Accounting and Auditing standards. Through these standards, students have a better opportunity to be able to work in the global market.

Profession

Accounting Profession

Accounting Professional Education (PPAk) is a professional education pathway organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga with Permit Letter No. 3568/D/T/2002, dated December 2, 2002. Meanwhile, the provisions for organizing PPAk are regulated in the Decree of the Minister of National Education No. 179/U/2001, dated November 21, 2001.

The general public who currently have a Bachelor of Economics degree majoring in Accounting but do not yet have the title ACCOUNTING PROFESSION (Ak) and State Register can obtain the title ACCOUNTANT through PPAk

Objective

Producing accountants who have:

  1. The knowledge, skills and professional orientation required by an accountant.
  2. Knowledge, skills and professional orientation to become a certified public accountant (BAP) through USAP
  3. Ability to practice as an auditor

S2

Master of Accounting

The Master of Accounting program produces graduates with knowledge and skills that not only meet the aforementioned standards but also prepare them for a wide range of industries. MAP offers four major options: financial accounting and auditing, accounting management, taxation, and public sector accounting. The curriculum not only adheres to the INQF but also adheres to international standards, including those of the Association of Business Schools (ABS UK), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), and several universities in Asia.

The Doctoral Program in Accounting is one of the leading study programs in the field of Accounting. Our comprehensive curriculum is designed for the doctoral level in Accounting, equipping graduates with holistic skills to compete in the dynamic 21st-century workplace. The quality of the Doctoral Program in Accounting has been proven, having earned two international accreditations from FIBAA and ABEST21, and a superior accreditation from BAN-PT.
