S1 Accounting

In order to meet the target groups, professional fields, and specific community contexts, the accounting undergraduate study program seeks to produce graduates who have adequate knowledge and understanding in the field of accounting and have critical, analytical, and systematic thinking, with good moral and ethical compass. In addition, graduates have adequate competence not only in making financial and tax reports, but also in conducting audits. By having this ability, as well as other knowledge in the field of business and management, graduates of the Bachelor of Accounting Program are ready to face real cases in the world of work. In curriculum development, the accounting undergraduate program follows the IES-IFAC for the Accounting Department in order to provide a global curriculum in accordance with global accounting and audit standards. Through this standard, students have a better opportunity to be able to work in the global market.

Profession

Accounting Profession

Accounting Professional Education (PPAK) is a professional education channel organized by the Faculty of Economy and Business, Universitas Airlangga with Permit No. 3568/D/T/2002, dated December 2, 2002. While the provisions on the implementation of PPAK are regulated in the Decree of the Minister of National Education No. 179/U/2001, November 21, 2001.

The general public who currently has a Bachelor of Economics Department of Accounting but does not yet have the designation of the Accounting Profession (AK) and the State Register can obtain the term accountant through PPAK

Objective

Produce an accountant who has:

  1. Knowledge, expertise and professional orientation needed by an accountant.
  2. Knowledge, expertise and professional orientation so that it becomes a Certified Accountant Accountant (BAP)
  3. Practicing skills as an auditor

S2

Masters in Accounting

The Master of Accounting program produces graduates with knowledge and skills that not only meet the levels mentioned above, but are also ready for a wide range of industries. MAP provides four major options: financial accounting and auditing, management accounting, taxation, and public sector accounting. The curriculum used not only follows INQF, but also refers to international standards, namely the Association of Business Schools ABS UK, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants-ACCA, Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business-AACSB, and several universities in Asia.

The Accounting Doctoral Program is one of the leading study programs in the field of Accounting. Our curriculum is designed comprehensively in the field of Accounting for doctoral level, which equips graduates with holistic skills to be able to compete in the dynamic 21st century world of work. The quality of the implementation and management of education in the Accounting Doctoral Program has also been proven by achieving two international accreditations from FIBAA and ABEST21, and superior accreditation from BAN-PT.
