Doctorate in Economics

Established in 1983 based on the Decree of Study Program Opening No. 23497/C/1983 dated March 10, 1983. Between 1983 and 2011, DECP education management was under the Postgraduate Program Universitas Airlangga. However, since 2012, DECP management has been transferred to the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR).

DECP has a recognized reputation for excellence both nationally and internationally, as evidenced by its "A" accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) and ABEST21 accreditation. We consistently consider every recommendation from these quality assurance bodies and implement them in all academic and non-academic activities.

To improve student performance during their studies, DECP offers a mentoring program to assist students in publishing articles in reputable national and international journals. Furthermore, DECP provides international exposure through various global mobility programs, both outbound and inbound.

Academic Provisions

1. Lecture Period
The academic year consists of two regular semesters: the odd semester, which runs from August to December, and the even semester, which runs from February to June. Each semester includes 14 face-to-face meetings, plus evaluation sessions.

2. Administrative Registration
Students are required to complete payment of the Educational Operational Contribution (SOP) for the current semester according to the provisions, before being able to register for courses.

3. Academic Registration
Before the start of lectures, students determine the courses they will take based on the curriculum provisions by showing their Student Identity Card (KTM) and/or proof of SOP payment. These courses are listed on the Study Plan Card (KRS), with reference to the Study Result Card (KHS). If there is a delay in filling out the KRS without a valid reason, the student will not be permitted to attend lectures in that semester.

4. Study Load
The total number of Semester Credit Units (SKS) that must be completed by students of the Doctoral Program in Economics is 48 SKS.
