Semester 1
Established on November 20, 2008 based on the Decree of Opening of Study Program No. 10253/J03/OT/2008. In 2017, MECP obtained national recognition through accreditation from BAN-PT with an “A” rating. The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia also entrusted MECP as one of the study programs receiving the Education Fund Management Institute (LPDP) Scholarship.
Furthermore, along with the transformation Universitas Airlangga into a World Class University (WCU), in 2020 MECP received international recognition from ABEST21 for the relevance of the programs offered.
MECP continues to enhance the student learning experience by providing innovative learning methods, international exposure, and a productive academic culture within the program environment. To support its internationalization goals, MECP collaborates closely with AGE, particularly in international student support services. AGE provides support in academic and non-academic activities such as accommodation, transportation, visa processing, student orientation, and other welfare aspects for international students.
MECP also participates in various programs organized by AGE, such as global student and staff mobility.

Organizing and developing academic education in the field of economics with national and international standards;
Carrying out research and development of science in the field of economics that is recognized at national and international levels;
Organizing community service that supports the application and development of economic science.
Providing economic education stimulation through high-quality learning to motivate students to achieve their optimal potential;
Building the knowledge, abilities and skills of all participants in understanding economic theory, econometrics, as well as various quantitative analysis tools and policy applications to relevant cases;
Provides students with the option to study specific areas of economics in depth;
Building students' abilities in applying economic knowledge, analytical tools, and skills both theoretically and practically, and in policy issues.

Graduation Degree
1. Lecture Period
Each academic year consists of two regular semesters: the Odd Semester, which runs from August to December, and the Even Semester, which runs from February to June. For Master's and Professional Accounting Education levels, each semester consists of 14 face-to-face meetings, plus evaluations in the form of Mid-Semester Exams (UTS) and Final Semester Exams (UAS).
2. Administrative Registration
Before re-registering academically, each student is required to first complete the payment of the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) for one semester, in accordance with applicable provisions.
3. Academic Registration
Before the start of lectures, students must determine the courses they will take in accordance with the curriculum regulations and listed in the Study Plan Card (KRS), with reference to the Study Result Card (KHS). Students can change or cancel courses by filling out the Study Plan Change Card (KPRS) on the schedule determined by the Faculty. Delays in filling out the KRS without an acceptable reason will result in students being denied permission to attend lectures in the current semester.
4. The
total study load of Semester Credit Units (SKS) that must be completed by Master of Economics students is 42 SKS.
