"KAFILAH (Fiqh Muamalah Study)" is a work program of the Science Division of AcSES 2026, organized as a forum for Islamic economics studies, particularly in the field of fiqh muamalah. This activity aims to improve AcSESors' understanding of the concept of waqf not only from a theoretical perspective but also from an implementation perspective through academic and practitioner perspectives. Thus, participants are expected to understand how the concept of waqf is applied in real life in the modern economy and contribute to the development of a sustainable Islamic economics.

KAFILAH will be held on:
Day/Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026
Time: 08.00 – 11.00 WIB
Venue: Zoom Meeting (Online)

The event's agenda began with an opening by the MC, followed by a series of formal events, including Quran recitation and welcome remarks. The moderator then guided the main agenda, beginning with an introduction of the speakers. This was crucial to ensure participants understood the speakers' backgrounds as practitioners with direct experience in the waqf sector, ensuring the material presented was not only theoretical but also practical.

The talk show session then began with a presentation on productive waqf, relevant to current economic conditions. The moderator guided the discussion to maintain an interactive atmosphere by posing pre-prepared questions to the presenters. Following the presentation and discussion with the moderator, participants were given the opportunity to ask questions directly to the presenters.

As a token of appreciation for the participants' active participation, the committee will present awards to the most active participants during the session. The event will then conclude with the presentation of certificates to the presenters, documentation, and a closing prayer.

Through this series of KAFILAH activities, participants are expected to gain a comprehensive understanding of the concept of productive waqf, its role in maintaining the economic resilience of the community, and how it can be implemented in the real world. Furthermore, this activity is also expected to strengthen relationships between accessors and broaden their knowledge of Islamic economics.
