The Bachelor of Accounting program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga, equips students with in-depth accounting knowledge alongside critical, analytical, and systematic thinking grounded in strong moral and ethical principles. The curriculum is designed in accordance with the international IES-IFAC standards, covering competencies in financial reporting, taxation, and auditing, ensuring alignment with global accounting and auditing practices. Beyond accounting expertise, students are also equipped with supporting knowledge in business and management to prepare them for real-world challenges in the workplace. The program prepares graduates who are competitive in both national and international job markets. The program is currently preparing for AACSB international accreditation, reflecting its ongoing commitment to strengthening academic quality and global competitiveness.
- Students are able to analyze financial accounting information based on national and international standards, reflecting a global perspective in financial reporting practices.
- Students are able to analyze managerial accounting information to support organizational decision-making. This includes consideration of sustainability-related costs and benefits.
- Students are able to evaluate financial statement by applying auditing principles and procedures. This includes applying professional skepticism and ethical integrity.
- Students are able to analyze business processes of a company., considering operational efficiency and sustainable business practices.
- Students are able to evaluate accounting cases and business problems to propose solutions, within a global business context.
- Students are able to analyze ethical dilemmas and evaluate the impact of business and professional decisions on stakeholders, society, and environmental sustainability.
- Students are able to present accounting analyses and decision outcomes in a clear and structured written and oral form. This includes adapting the presentation for diverse and global stakeholders.
