The Faculty Advisory Board (Badan Pertimbangan Fakultas, BPF) is an organ within the faculty that functions as an advisory body to the Dean in strategic decision-making related to faculty management. The BPF typically comprises senior lecturers, alumni representatives, and community figures with close ties to the faculty. In addition, the BPF provides guidance on academic policy and offers input on the faculty’s strategic plans. The Faculty Advisory Board plays an important role in ensuring that faculty policy direction remains aligned with academic developments, industry needs, and the interests of the broader community.

The Quality Assurance Unit (Satuan Penjaminan Mutu, SPM) is a faculty-level unit responsible for ensuring and monitoring academic quality and the quality management system within FEB. SPM is tasked with designing, implementing, and evaluating quality assurance policies and procedures on an ongoing basis. Through this role, SPM maintains educational quality in line with established standards, while continuously evolving to meet the changing dynamics of academic and societal needs.

The Faculty Planning and Development Unit (Unit Perencanaan dan Pengembangan Fakultas) is a support unit at the faculty level that assists FEB leadership in formulating policy direction, strategic plans, and development frameworks for the faculty across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons. This unit is tasked with translating the faculty’s vision and mission into measurable development programs, encompassing academic, institutional, and supporting infrastructure aspects. As a catalyst for governance reform within FEB, this unit promotes the creation of a planning system that is systematic, integrated, and aligned with university policy, in support of good faculty governance and the sustainable achievement of faculty performance targets.

The Research, Publication, and Community Service Unit (Unit Penelitian, Publikasi, dan Pengabdian Masyarakat) is responsible for managing, promoting, and facilitating research activities and scientific publications within the faculty, with the aim of improving both the quality and quantity of research and supporting lecturers and students in producing scholarly work that contributes to the advancement of science and technology. This unit plays a strategic role in strengthening the faculty’s contribution to scientific development, while fostering a productive research culture with broad societal impact.

The Information and Public Relations Unit (Unit Informasi dan Hubungan Masyarakat) is responsible for managing communication, information, and the faculty’s public image, both internally and externally. This unit plays a key role in maintaining positive relationships with students, lecturers, education staff, alumni, the media, and the broader public. Its main responsibilities include disseminating important information to the entire academic community, facilitating coordination between faculty leadership and the academic community, managing the faculty website and social media to share academic information, activities, and achievements, and building relationships with mass media for news coverage of the faculty.

The Entrepreneurship, Internship, and Industry Relations Unit (Unit Kewirausahaan, Magang, dan Relasi Industri) aims to promote entrepreneurship development among students, lecturers, and alumni, while establishing strategic partnerships with industry. This unit serves as a bridge between academia and industry, helping students and academics develop entrepreneurial skills and business innovation, as well as expanding opportunities for collaboration with companies and other institutions. Through this role, the unit contributes to producing graduates who are not only job-ready, but also prepared to become entrepreneurs and contribute to economic growth through innovation and industry collaboration.

The Competency, Career, and Alumni Impact Unit (Unit Kompetensi, Karir, dan Keberdampakan Alumni) is a faculty-level unit focused on strengthening students’ career readiness as well as enhancing the contribution and network of FEB alumni. This unit carries out various development programs, including competency training and certification, soft skills preparation, career counseling, and connecting students with the professional world through internships, campus hiring, and partnership development with industry. In addition, this unit manages student competency certification services as supplementary preparation for the workforce, and maintains ongoing relationships with alumni to strengthen graduate competitiveness and the faculty’s reputation among employers.

The Student Achievement Support Unit (Unit Pendampingan Prestasi Mahasiswa) operates directly under the FEB Dean’s Office and is responsible for recording, coaching, and developing student achievements at the regional, national, and international levels. In addition, this unit focuses on achieving accomplishments collaboratively with students from other faculties within Universitas Airlangga, while continuously building partnerships with external parties and parents to gather input for achievement development, in support of a superior and competitive FEB UNAIR.
