The Pengprof Talkshow is a program of the Professional Development Department of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga It focuses on providing insight and developing students' skills for the post-campus world. This event is designed as an educational platform, featuring professional speakers from various industry backgrounds to share their experiences, insights, and strategies for preparing for the transition from academia to the workplace.

This year, the Pengprof Talkshow has a broader role as it is held as part of the Career Week FEB Universitas Airlanggaseries of pre-events. Unlike previous events, this event will be held offline for the first time and is open to all students across faculties. This aims to broaden the reach of benefits and provide greater opportunities for students to interact directly with speakers, build relationships, and gain a more in-depth learning experience.

The Pengprof Talkshow is a strategic platform for students to understand various important aspects of the post-campus world, such as career preparation, developing soft and hard skills, adapting to industry dynamics, and mapping their potential based on their individual interests and competencies. Through this activity, students are expected to not only gain information but also develop adaptive and critical thinking, ready to compete in the professional world.

Furthermore, this activity aligns with efforts to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4, quality education. Limited access to relevant career information and a lack of practical understanding of the world of work can hinder students from developing the necessary competencies. Therefore, the Pengprof Talkshow serves as a supplementary learning medium that supports improving the quality of education by providing practical insights, skills development, and experiential learning from professionals.

With the Pengprof Talkshow, it is hoped that students will gain access to more comprehensive learning, improve their readiness continuously, and be able to develop relevant competencies to face the challenges of the world of work in the future.
