MSM Dialogue Sharing 2025 Feb(MSM News) MSM Dialogue & Sharing 2025: Scholarship Talk is one of the strategic work programs of the Masters in Management Master of Management (HIMA MSM) Universitas Airlangga. This activity aims to educate, motivate, and inspire students in planning further education through scholarship channels.

Designed as a forum for sharing insights and real experiences from speakers who have won scholarships, this activity is packaged in an interactive dialogue format and inspirational sharing session. The event was held online through Instagram live Hima MSM's official account (@Himamsm.unair) on April 18, 2025, at 19.00-20.00 WIB.

Carrying the theme "Scholarship Talk", this event not only discusses the technical aspects of the scholarship selection process, but also focuses on strengthening the enthusiasm of students to continue to develop, dream higher, and prepare careful education planning.

The speakers who were present were inspirational figures who had traveled a long journey in winning scholarships, and openly sharing their experiences directly with the participants.

The first resource person was St. Nurhikma Maulida, S.Psi., MA, Lecturer at the STIA LAN Makassar Polytechnic who is currently studying doctoral studies as recipients of LPDP scholarships. Armed with an educational background in the field of relevant psychology and master, it has expertise in human resource management, industrial and organizational psychology, and social psychology. His experience in the academic world and his journey to get a scholarship made him a credible resource person to share strategies and motivation in pursuing further studies.

The second resource was Lia Febria Lina, SE, M.Sc., a lecturer at the Indonesian Teknokrat University, who is currently studying doctoral studies in the field of management, marketing concentration, at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. He is the recipient of the Indonesian Education Scholarship (BPI) from the Ministry of Education and Culture, a scholarship program that is intended specifically for lecturers.

In her presentation, Lia stressed the importance of careful preparation before registering a scholarship, such as having a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the destination university, taking the TOEFL test, preparing a research proposal, to writing a personal statement. In addition, he also won the Seed Scholarship (Canada-ASEAN Scholarships & Educational Exchanges for Development) that allowed him to conduct research for one semester at Dalhousie University, Canada.

His research is focused on consumer behavior related to food waste, with the aim of supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs), especially in the aspect of responsible consumption and production.

Through this activity, participants gained various significant benefits, ranging from a deeper understanding of the stage of scholarship selection, strategies for preparing important documents, to insights on academic life at the advanced level of education. Held online through Instagram Live, this program also expands the range of access to information to the broader audience - not limited to internal participants, but can also be accessed by the general public, including prospective students from various backgrounds. This makes the Scholarship Talk program contribute to supporting the achievement of the 4th Sustainable Development Objectives (SDGs), namely Quality Education, through the dissemination of educational information and increasing scholarship literacy in inclusive and sustainable.
