The Economics Student Association (HIMA IE) Universitas Airlangga once again presents the STATA 2026 Training. This program, initiated by the Department of Science, is designed as a forum for strengthening students' academic capacity, especially in mastering research methodology and quantitative data analysis
The primary objective of this training is to equip participants with the technical skills to operate STATA software for complex data processing. Participants will be introduced to data processing techniques, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
Using a case study-based approach and hands-on practice, this activity aims to provide real-world experience in research. This training is highly recommended for final-year students preparing their theses or final assignments to enhance their research credibility and clarity. This activity is a concrete step in supporting:
- SDG 4 (Quality Education): Provide access to quality data analysis tools to support academic success.
- SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth): Preparing future talent with data analysis hard skills that are highly sought after in the global job market.
This activity will be held online via Zoom Meeting on May 23–24, 2026, and is open to all students from various universities. The series of activities includes an introduction to STATA software, practical data processing and analysis, and interactive discussions regarding its use in thesis writing. The indicator of success for this activity is if more than 89% of participants can actively participate in the training and demonstrate increased understanding based on the results of the pre-test and post-test given.
