
The Development Economics Student Association Universitas Airlangga will organize a Community Development program coordinated by the Department of Social, Community, and Environment. This program aims to encourage local economic growth, create jobs, and increase community income in a region. In addition, this activity is expected to foster a sense of togetherness, strengthen social relationships, and reduce communication gaps. Furthermore, this program seeks to ensure that the community has better access to education, health services, a healthy environment, and broader economic opportunities.
The implementation of this Community Development also contributes to the achievement of SDGs Goals 4, 8, and 17. This activity serves as a means to empower communities to improve economic, social, and environmental welfare. Through this program, communities gain access to better education, decent employment opportunities, and support in creating sustainable economic growth. In addition, this activity also serves as a forum to strengthen social relations, reduce communication gaps, and build collaboration between academics, government, and the community to achieve inclusive and sustainable development.
Development Economics Student Association Universitas Airlangga in 2025. Community Development will be held for seven days, from June 30 to July 6, 2025, located in Begagan Limo Village, Gondang, Mojokerto, East Java.
In its implementation, this activity includes various programs in four main areas, namely economics, environment, education, and health. In the economic sector, revitalization of tourist attractions in the village will be carried out to increase local tourism potential. In the environmental sector, this program will provide education to the community about the importance of water conservation and the implementation of wise use. In the educational sector, curriculum teaching activities will be carried out at the village school. Meanwhile, in the health sector, health checks will be conducted for the local community.
Indicators of the success of this Community Development are activities carried out for 7 days in 1 departure during 1 management period and the implementation of programs in the fields of Economics, Environment, Education, and Health at least once each during the activity.
