
This comparative study provides a crucial opportunity for each KOPMA to delve deeper into strategies for implementing green cooperatives, wisely utilizing resources, and how to involve all cooperative members in environmental preservation. This activity also inspires concrete steps toward more sustainable cooperative innovation, focusing on economic, social, and environmental aspects.
Furthermore, this comparative study aligns with the achievement of several sustainable development goals (SDGs). First, it supports SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by encouraging cooperative management that is able to create sustainable jobs and increase economic productivity through cooperative innovation. Second, this activity is also aligned with SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, through cooperative education and practices that focus on environmentally friendly and sustainable resource management. The students' active involvement in this comparative study not only increases their knowledge of cooperatives but also raises awareness of the importance of running a sustainable business for a better future.
