Strengthening members' understanding of the real practices of cooperative management, the Cooperative Study Group (KOPSI) of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga held a field study program in the form of "KOPSI VISIT TO SETIA BHAKTI WOMEN CONSUMER COOPERATIVE". This activity was held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 and took place at the Setia Bhakti Wanita Consumer Cooperative located at Jl. Jemur Andayani No. 55, Jemur Wonosari, Wonocolo District, Surabaya City. This visit was attended by all members of KOPSI FEB UNAIR which aimed to broaden their insights and understanding regarding professional cooperative management practices.
This activity aims to deepen important aspects in cooperative management, such as AD/ART, organizational structure, cooperative revitalization, and management of member savings. The series of events began at 09.00 WIB with participant registration, followed by an opening by the Master of Ceremony (MC) which included a prayer and singing the Indonesian national anthem, the Airlangga Hymn, and the Cooperative March. The event then entered a welcoming session from the chief executive, the head of KOPSI FEB UNAIR, the supervisory lecturer of KOPSI FEB UNAIR, and the Head of the Setia Bhakti Wanita Consumer Cooperative. Before the presentation of the material by the cooperative administrators, participants took a pre-test, then after the material delivery session and question and answer discussion, a post-test was conducted to measure the increase in participants' understanding. The activity closed with a group photo documentation.
Through this KOPSI Visit activity, KOPSI FEB UNAIR hopes that participants can internalize the values of cooperative professionalism, address various challenges in managing member savings, and contribute to the revitalization of cooperatives based on real practices. This activity is a strategic means for students to connect theoretical studies with field realities while building sustainable institutional networks between the academic community and cooperative actors. With a systematic learning approach through pre-tests and post-tests, it is hoped that measurable knowledge internalization will occur and have a real impact on the development of visionary, critical, and solution-oriented cooperative cadres.
