The Lightning Investigation program aims to provide fast, accurate, and relevant factual field studies on emerging issues on campus and beyond. This initiative is motivated by the persistence of issues that cannot be explained solely through secondary data, as well as the prevalence of conflicting information that tends to stem from one-sided assumptions.
Through the Flash Investigation program, the PIC and team will go directly to the location of the issue to conduct observations and gather information from relevant parties and the surrounding community. This approach allows students to gain a comprehensive picture of a problem while minimizing unfounded conclusions.
This activity is expected to foster a culture of data- and fact-based analysis within Kastrat, resulting in a more accurate and credible response to issues. Furthermore, Kilat Investigasi encourages the issues raised to be not only national in scope but also relevant to students' realities and based on strong field findings.
