Review of the 2018 Rise of Indonesian Youth National Seminar
The increasingly rapid development of the digital world has an impact on the increasing use of technology in various fields of our lives. In welcoming the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the HIMA Accounting S1 UNAIR also enlivened it by holding a national seminar Rise of Indonesian Youth "Be Creative Preneur to Facing Up 4thIndustrial Revolution", which was held on May 12, 2018, at the Fajar Notonegoro Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga. Present as speakers were CMO Kals Corpora Haykal Kamil; Co-Founder of Cicil.co.id Edward Widjonarko MBA; Owner of PT. Aiola Indonesia dr Irmadita Citrashanty Sp. KK; and Founder of Lean Accounting Indonesia Godwin Sihotang CA, CMA, CIBA, CBV.
The presentation opened with a discussion from Daniel Godwin Sihotang, Founder of Lean Accounting Indonesia, CA, CMA, CIBA, CBV, discussing the 4th industrial revolution and the application of lean six sigma in companies and businesses. Daniel Godwin explained that lean six sigma is used by large companies to develop long-term strategies so that their companies can continue to dominate the market and succeed.
Continued material delivered by the Owner of PT. Aiola Indonesia dr. Irmadita Citrashanty Sp. KK, discussing how she pioneered her business from zero to the present day with various obstacles she encountered as a doctor. dr. Irmadita also provided tips on building a culinary business that she has successfully done and how to face the 4th industrial revolution so that her business continues to run and even increases and can increase turnover by utilizing the rapid technological developments in this industrial revolution 4.0.
In the second session, the event opened with a presentation from Cicil.co.id Co-Founder Edward Widjonarko MBA. He shared how he started his startup from its inception to its current popularity among students and the general public. Edward also provided tips on navigating the 4th industrial revolution and leveraging it as a business opportunity to build a promising business for the future.
continued with a Haykal Kamil, CMO of Kals Corpora presentation on determination in business and tips for young people to follow when building a business. He also explained the difficulties he faced in building a business as a young man, explaining that as a young person, you must have the courage to start a business.
The final session concluded with a beauty class from Nivea Indonesia, which discussed maintaining and caring for healthy skin with a variety of beauty products. The seminar ran smoothly, with at least 240 participants attending this year's Rise of Indonesian Youth National Seminar.
