The Accounting Student Association of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga once again held AKS1 Social (AKSOS) as a community service program for the external sector, routinely held four times during one management period. This program provides a forum for students to increase social awareness while making real contributions to communities in need, particularly in orphanages and nursing homes. Through this activity, students not only come to share aid but also build interaction and togetherness with the residents of the homes.

AKS1 Social (AKSOS) opens donation opportunities for the entire community and students, especially undergraduate Accounting study programs, to participate. Donations are raised through two methods, namely online and offline donations. Online donations are made by distributing fundraising posters through social media so that information can reach more parties. Meanwhile, offline donations are made through "Sliding Box (KOSER)", which is a direct donation collection by conducting roadshows to classes. This step is taken so that the entire academic community can be involved in social care activities held by the Accounting Student Association Universitas Airlangga.

In addition to providing the opportunity to donate, AKS1 Social (AKSOS) also provides opportunities for all accounting students to become volunteers in every AKSOS activity. Student enthusiasm for this program is quite high because social activities are considered a useful and meaningful experience. The volunteers will be directly involved in a series of activities at orphanages and nursing homes, ranging from mentoring, delivering educational materials, fun games, creative activities to distributing aid from donations. With this AKS1 Social program, it is hoped that students can foster a sense of empathy, solidarity, and concern for the social environment around them.
