BASIC TRAINING FOR COOPERATIVE MANAGEMENT 2026 PROVISION OF SHU AND COOPERATIVE MANAGEMENT

(KOPSI NEWS) Campus is not only a place to learn theory, but also a place to build character and leadership. This spirit was embodied by the Student Cooperative Study Group (KOPSI) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga (FEB), through the 2026 KOPSI Management Basic Training held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Tirtodiningrat Hall, Dharmawangsa-B Campus, FEB UNAIR.

Inviting STIE Mahardika Surabaya lecturer Dr. Iwang Suwangsih, SS., MM., who provided training related to the management of Business Surplus (SHU) and cooperative organizational management.

This activity aims to instill a basic understanding of cooperatives and organizational management. Through this series of training sessions, administrators will be able to develop competencies, build collaboration, and understand cooperative financial management professionally and with integrity.

KOPSI administrators not only received theoretical material but also participated in a hands-on simulation of calculating SHU. Furthermore, the agenda included interactive discussions and case studies designed to enhance critical thinking skills in addressing organizational dynamics.

Besides serving as a learning tool, this Basic Training also serves as the initial step in fostering a sense of responsibility and commitment as KOPSI administrators. This will enable the administrators to develop human resources who are not only competent but also solid in carrying out their roles for the advancement of KOPSI FEB UNAIR.

This implementation was attended by 28 administrators from 7 divisions: Secretary, Treasurer, Research and Development (RnD), Public Relations, Education and Training (EnT), Human Resource Development (PSDM), and Communication and Information (Kominfo) who actively participated in the entire series of activities.

"Through the 2026 KOPSI FEB UNAIR Basic Management Training, we hope that all administrators can understand their respective roles and responsibilities and have sufficient provisions to run the organization well," said Retno Wahida Asti, PIC of the 2026 KOPSI Basic Training.

He added that this activity is capable of developing administrators who are not only competent in terms of knowledge but also possess a strong sense of responsibility and a strong spirit of collaboration. Therefore, this Basic Training is the first step in developing competent, solid administrators capable of managing cooperatives professionally, while also strengthening synergy in the sustainable running of KOPSI FEB UNAIR 2026.
