Universitas Airlangga Stock Exchange Competition, or UASTEC for short, is a national stock and capital market competition for all high school (SMA) and vocational high school (SMK) students. UASTEC aims to foster investment interest among high school (SMA) and vocational high school (SMK) students and encourage them to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga.
UASTEC 2021 is a sub-event of Management Expo 2021, providing a platform for implementing capital market understanding. The theme of UASTEC 2021 is "Use Your Youth for Your Financial Development with Investment" as an effort to support national economic recovery and growth. To support millennials' understanding of investment, UASTEC 2021 will feature a webinar as part of this year's series of events.
This webinar is part of a series of events within the UASTEC (Universitas Airlangga Stock Exchange Competition) as a form of outreach held by the Management Expo 2021. The theme of this activity is "How Stock Becomes The Right Investment Instrument For Your Future." The UASTEC 2021 webinar aims to provide education and information on strategies for selecting the right company stocks in the capital market in finding the right investment instrument for the future, increase insight to have the right mindset in managing personal finances, and provide explanations and procedures for becoming an investor in the Indonesian capital market.
The 2021 UASTEC Webinar was held online via Zoom meeting and livestreaming on the UASTEC Official YouTube channel on October 22, 2021, at 1:00 PM WIB. This webinar is free and can be attended by all UASTEC 2021 participants, high school/vocational school students or university students, and the general public interested in managing finances or investing using stock instruments for a better future. The speakers at the 2021 UASTEC Webinar were Dyan Fajar Mahardika (Executive Trainer at PT Bursa Efek Indonesia) and Alfredo Gusvirli (Senior Analyst at PT Sekolah Saham Indonesia). The presenter at the 2021 UASTEC Webinar was Chika Berlianti (S1 Management Student, Universitas Airlangga) with moderator Farrel Christian Tomo (S1 Management Student, Universitas Airlangga).
