-PAPER CLINIC 2018-

It's time for students to create is the main theme of Paper Clinic 2018. This theme was chosen because we hope that this event can increase participants' knowledge and confidence in participating in competitions, especially scientific writing competitions. Students are figures full of critical thinking, high social spirit, and always echoing change for the better. This spirit is the basis for us in holding a writing training and seminar event entitled 'paper clinic 2018'. This event targets students domiciled in East Java with a quota of 80 participants.

The event was held for 2 days on April 27-28 2018 in Soepoyo Hall and Fadjar Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga.

On the first day, a Writing Seminar and a Public Speaking Seminar were held, while the second day was filled with Student Talkshows and Paper Making Training. Paper clinic presented Shochrul Rohmatul Ajija, SE., M.Ec. as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business and Sakti Haposan Yudhistira as a Public Speaker as seminar speakers on the first day. Then for the talkshow speakers on the second day, Paper Clinic presented Anida Amirilia Nisa as a Finalist for the 2017 FEB Unair Ambassador and Oktavia Dewi Rizka Alam as the 2016 and 2017 FEB Unair MAWAPRES, as well as Diaz Patria Yunanto as moderator.

The event began at 9:00 a.m. on the first day, with speakers arriving on time and providing high-quality materials. Participants were enthusiastic about the tutorials provided by the speakers. The second day, held at 9:15 a.m., the speakers arrived on time and provided materials related to their personal experiences, as well as providing motivation for the participants. The event then continued with a paper outline training session, where participants were divided into several groups.

Then, participants are required to put it into a presentation slide which will ultimately be competed at the end of the event.

With this event, we hope that participants can easily share knowledge and experience, as well as gain skills to participate in writing competitions and bring back the critical and caring spirit of students so that they can become students who excel and are useful for the nation, state, and of course their beloved alma mater.
