Social Action (AKSOS) is a community service program designed by the External Affairs Division (HMA) Universitas Airlangga. This program is a forum for accounting students to interact directly with the community, fostering empathy and social awareness. AKSOS 2025 will be held four times with various inspiring activities in different locations. This program is in line with the goal (SDGs) point 10, which is to reduce social inequality by providing equal opportunities for all levels of society to gain new experiences and insights. The first AKSOS will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Himmatun Ayat Orphanage. The series of events begins at 2:30 p.m., with the gathering of committee members and volunteers at the Colorful Building. Participants will depart for the location at 3:20 p.m. Upon arrival at the orphanage, the event will begin with an opening and introduction session at 4:00 p.m. – 4:25 p.m. The event then continues with a keychain decorating session from 4:25 PM to 5:25 PM. After the creative session, participants will take a short break while waiting for Maghrib prayers. Congregational Maghrib prayers will then be held at 6:00 PM. Following the prayers, the event will continue with a communal breaking of the fast and a closing ceremony from 6:25 PM to 6:30 PM.
