As a forum for self-development, scientific studies, and community service in the field of cooperatives and people's economy, the Student Cooperative Study Group (KOPSI) FEB UNAIR held a Workshop. The activity, which was assisted by the Education and Training division as part of the internal coaching process, carried the theme "Crafting Knowledge That Lasts a Workshop on Writing for Impact". This activity aims to equip administrators with technical and conceptual skills in compiling scientific essays and cooperative business plans that are relevant, structured, and applicable. This workshop consists of two main sessions, the first session will focus on providing material on good and correct essay and business plan writing techniques accompanied by direct practice to strengthen participants' understanding. The second session is a work review session, where participants will present their writing results and receive constructive input from the presenters and facilitators. The first session will be held on July 5, 2025, and the second session will be held on August 16, 2025. The first session will be held online with a competent speaker we have invited, namely Ms. Alya Hamidah, who is an Accounting student from the class of 2022. The second session will also be held online and will focus on evaluating the work of each KOPSI administrator.
The "Crafting Knowledge That Lasts a Workshop on Writing for Impact" Workshop is expected to significantly improve the technical and conceptual capacity of KOPSI FEB UNAIR administrators in compiling quality, structured, and applicable scientific essays and cooperative business plans. With better writing skills, it is hoped that administrators will be able to design strategic documents that not only meet academic standards but also have a real impact in developing student cooperatives and advancing the people's economy. This activity is very relevant to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDGs 4 (Quality Education) because it focuses on improving skills and lifelong learning through technical writing training and hands-on practice. In addition, increasing capacity in developing applicable cooperative business plans directly contributes to SDGs 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by encouraging cooperative-based entrepreneurship and an inclusive economy.
