COMDEV (Comm unity Development) is a form of community development activity that leads to achieving better socio-economic-cultural conditions compared to before this activity, especially independence in managing the abundant natural resources in the area. And the village we will visit is Seloliman Village, Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency with its four hamlets, namely Biting Hamlet, Sempur Hamlet, Balekambang Hamlet, and Janjing Hamlet.
Seloliman Village has diverse biodiversity, superior natural resources that are different in each hamlet, distribution and marketing aspects which are the main problems, lagging information in the city, quite large population disparities, and high social inequality in the area. So HIMA Economic Development, Universitas Airlangga Community Development activities for the third year. Universitas Airlangga Economic Development Community Development Program focuses on five aspects that will be upheld, namely entertaining (entertainment events such as providing knowledge and teaching children who are still in school) , programming (extension program on ginger extract, environmental cleanliness, and training to form a joint venture with the village , and assisting with business licensing issues) , revaluation (repairing and improving business quality) , sustaining (implementation of sustainable programs).
COMDEV 2018 focused on providing PIRT business licensing assistance to the Seloliman village community, one of whom was Mrs. Juwanik with a product in the form of ginger extract powder. Apart from that, the COMDEV Committee also helped to design the packaging for Mrs. Juwanik's products. In various departures, the COMDEV committee carried out several treatments for the people of Seloliman Village, including: In March, survey , in April, health outreach and free health checks, in May, livestock and business outreach, and in September, the PIRT registration process and environmental love learning activities with children. SDN Seloliman, and at its closing in November there was a Sharing Ceria event (distributing donations of books, bags, shoes) at SDN Seloliman ending with a ba'da isya' recitation and thanksgiving with the residents. From the various treatments that have been applied to the people of Seloliman village, they have better living habits, and their awareness of the environment and business has increased. It is hoped that with this, society can achieve better prosperity than before.
