(FEB NEWS) Thursday, 10 June 2021, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga (FEB UNAIR) held the DJKN Goes To Campus event, in a hybrid manner with the theme "The Role and Function of Auctions in the National Economy", a collaboration between Universitas Airlangga (in this case is the FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS UNIVERSITAS AIRLANGGA as HOST and the FACULTY OF LAW UNIVERSITAS AIRLANGGA (FH UNAIR)) with the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) – Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia.
Present at the event were Tugas Agus Priyo Waluyo – Head of the East Java DJKN Regional Office and his staff, Coordinator of the Master of Law Study Program – Dr. Indira Retno Atyantie, SH., MH as well as several invited guests as well as students from the Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Programs from both FEB UNAIR and FH UNAIR and were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga – Prof. Dr. Dian Agustia, SE., MSi., Ak., CMA., CA.

Agus Priyo Waluyo – Head of the East Java DJKN Regional Office in his Opening Speech expressed his gratitude for receiving DJKN Goes To Campus and introduced that DJKN is one of the echelon 1 units within the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, DJKN in carrying out its duties carries out tasks in the field of State Asset Management, Auction Services, Assessment Services and Management of State Receivables.

Regarding auction services, the DJKN currently operates entirely online through the Indonesian Auction portal at lelang.go.id. Previously, auction services were conducted conventionally, with face-to-face meetings. Now, everything from the auction application to the auction's completion is done entirely online through the Indonesian Auction portal.
Agus Priyo Waluyo stated that with the digital transformation of DJKN, many frauds have been encountered, so he appealed to those who receive information, persuasion, or auction lures with lower prices than the market, to participate in auctions and deposit auction guarantees, to check first through the Indonesian Auction portal, as long as it is not informed on the Indonesian portal, then it is a lie, it is wrong. Agus Priyo Waluyo admitted that he was shocked because those who experienced fraud were not those who were lacking in education (from undergraduates to business actors). For this reason, Agus Priyo Waluyo urged not to be fooled by such persuasion and always check first through the Indonesian Auction Portal.
Furthermore, Agus Priyo Waluyo explained that the Covid-19 outbreak has severely disrupted the Indonesian economy and has had a significant impact on Indonesian SMEs. Therefore, the Indonesian Ministry of Finance has mandated all its echelon 1 units, including the DJKN, to actively participate in the recovery of the National Economy.
DJKN's participation includes conducting auctions of SME products, providing many discounts for debt repayment (50% - 60%) depending on the debt repayment dates in 2021. This activity is intended as a form of synergy between the DJKN's presence in East Java, so that it is hoped that SMEs, Debtors in the East Java Region, can immediately pay off their debts, revive their economy, and ultimately DJKN can coordinate with the Regional Government whose society is very advanced. At the end of his speech, Tugas Agus Priyo Waluyo hoped that this DJKN Goes To Campus could be utilized well, and could broaden the knowledge of the students and all those present and ultimately contribute to the country.

The event not only provided material on the Role and Function of Auctions in the National Economy by the Head of the Auction Division of the East Java DJKN Regional Office, Mr. Ahid Iwanudin, but also an Auction Simulation, which certainly added to the excitement of the DJKN Goes To Campus event.
