WE CARE 2026

Amidst the rapid development of the times and technological advances, various social issues continue to require attention and concern from all elements of society. One of the main issues of concern today is the condition of children who face limited access to basic education and mental well-being challenges due to economic constraints. They require not only material assistance, but also moral support and a supportive space to maintain their zest for life and emotional health. In response, the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Airlangga , through the Community Service Department, is once again holding its annual program, "We Care 2026.".

With the theme "Inclusive Education and Mental Well-being for Children with Limited Access to Education," Kita Peduli 2026 emerged from a sense of responsibility for the humanitarian tragedy that occurred in Ngada Regency, NTT. The incident, which befell an elementary school student, who lost hope due to the inability to meet basic school needs, serves as a reminder that economic barriers have a real impact on children's psychological well-being. Beyond fundraising, Kita Peduli 2026 also emphasizes the importance of education, self-regulation, and community empowerment. This program aligns with the commitment to sustainable development, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education).

The 2026 Kita Peduli series of events includes outdoor learning activities to improve basic literacy skills at the Flora Park, a mental health seminar and workshop on the concept of self-release at the Soepoyo Hall, FEB UNAIR, and the culminating event of an immersive installation exhibition with the theme "Five Stages of Grief: Aku Gagal." It is hoped that these activities can foster social awareness, provide new motivation, and have a real impact on children struggling amidst limitations so that they no longer feel alone in achieving their future
