TEDxAirlanggaUniversity is an independent, officially licensed initiative from TED that has existed since 2020 as a space to spread meaningful ideas within Universitas Airlangga. Embracing the spirit of "Ideas Change Everything,"

TEDxAirlangga University is a collaborative platform that presents creative, reflective, and transformative ideas from various groups. Rooted in TED, a global nonprofit organization with a mission of spreading ideas, TEDxAirlangga University continues to evolve into a space for interdisciplinary dialogue that fosters new perspectives and real action. 

Entering its seventh year, TEDxAirlangga University 2026 adopted the grand theme "Beneath What We See: The Mycelium." This theme encourages audiences to recognize that significant change often stems from small contributions and roles that are not always visible. Through a series of thematically interconnected pre-events and main events, TEDxAirlangga University presents an experience that is not only inspiring, but also reflective and meaningful. 

More than just a conference, TEDxUniversitasAirlangga is here as an open space for students to exchange ideas, build collaborations, and create impact together. With the spirit of diversity, intellectual courage, and collective contribution, TEDxUniversitasAirlangga invites all people Universitas Airlangga to be part of a conversation that can change perspectives, build awareness, and create real change, while contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reducing Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for Achieving the Goals).
