(E-Radio NEWS) E-Radio UNAIR held a Property Training organized by the Maintenance and Property (MnP) Division on March 6-11, 2026. This activity was held at the E-Radio Secretariat, Graha Krida Mahasiswa (GKM) FEB UNAIR.
The training, which involved all E-Radio or E-Crew members, aimed to provide a basic understanding of the use of broadcast equipment available at the secretariat. Approximately two groups participated in the training sessions each day, alternating between sessions. During the training, the committee introduced the various equipment used during broadcasting activities and how to operate them.
Additionally, members practiced using the equipment through broadcast simulations and played music during the broadcast. The MnP Division successfully guided each member on how to use the broadcast equipment live.
"The Property training from the MnP Division was very useful in increasing our knowledge of operating broadcast equipment. We hope that all 2026 E-Crew members will be able to understand and execute broadcasts with minimal technical difficulties," said Lovin, Head of E-Radio Universitas Airlangga.
This activity also provides an opportunity for E-Radio members from various divisions to interact with each other. Members can meet with others from other divisions, creating a relaxed atmosphere and providing a space to get to know each other better.
"This property training is fundamental for all members. Therefore, it is crucial for E-Radio members to participate. Thank God, everyone seemed enthusiastic throughout the training and was able to follow the basic material required for E-Radio members," said Evan, Head of the Maintenance and Property (MnP) Division.
He added that this basic understanding is crucial so that each member has a clear understanding of the broadcasting process before starting. The activity began by dividing the groups into divisions, then each division was divided into two groups to ensure effective training.
Once the groups were formed, the MnP Division provided several training schedule options for each group to choose from, depending on their available time.
During each session, members received an explanation of how to use the broadcast equipment available at the secretariat. Afterward, the team practiced using the equipment through simple simulations. Through this method, members not only understood the material theoretically but also gained hands-on experience operating broadcast equipment.
Through this Property Training, E-Radio members gain a basic understanding of broadcast equipment usage and an overview of the broadcasting process. This knowledge serves as a first step before members become directly involved in E-Radio broadcasting activities. This activity also aligns with SDG 4's goal of improving practical skills and knowledge and supports SDG 9, which focuses on developing technical capabilities and utilizing technology.
