
ARSITEK NEWS – The Association of Economic and Policy Researchers (ARSITEK) successfully held its ArchitectUpgrading Day on Sunday (March 15, 2026) online via the Zoom Meeting. All ARSITEK 2026 members participated in the event as a form of initial training to improve their academic and organizational skills, particularly in the areas of scientific writing, design, and understanding organizational work systems.
This activity was motivated by differences in abilities and understanding among members, especially in compiling structured scientific papers, building data-based arguments, and conveying information visually through design. Therefore, ARSITEK held Upgrading Day as a learning space to improve the basic capacity of members from the beginning of membership. This activity, on scientific writing material, was delivered by Reza Akbar Nurokhman and design material was delivered by Yoga Rian. The activity took place interactively with quite high participant enthusiasm.
Each topic includes exercises conducted during and after the session to practice the material presented. For design, the exercises involved creating cover post about an economic topic, applying an understanding of proportions in editing. For scientific writing, the exercises involved analyzing the outline of a journal article, conducted in groups.
activities Upgrading Day can continue to be implemented in various forms as part of efforts to develop members' capacity on an ongoing basis.
