The WEBS 2026 Community Service Program is a work program organized by the Entrepreneur and Business Society (WEBS) Workshop Universitas Airlangga as a tangible contribution to the community and to commemorate WEBS's 21st anniversary. This activity focuses on improving the literacy and capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the use of digital finance as a more effective, modern, and sustainable financial management solution.

This program is designed as an interactive outreach program that not only provides a conceptual understanding of the importance of digital finance for business development but also includes demonstrations and hands-on practice using digital financial applications, particularly for business financial record-keeping. During the program, WEBS students actively assist participants during the practical sessions, ensuring that MSMEs can understand the use of financial technology more easily and effectively.

This activity was motivated by the low level of digital financial literacy among MSMEs. Many businesses still use manual record-keeping or lack a well-structured financial administration system. This situation can hamper business decision-making and limit business development opportunities amidst the rapid development of digitalization. Therefore, through this community service activity, WEBS strives to provide awareness and practical skills so that MSMEs can adapt to technological developments and utilize digital finance to support their business sustainability.

In addition to serving as a platform for community education and empowerment, the WEBS 2026 Community Service program also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly point 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth.
