
This work program aims to be a forum for students who want to prepare, build, and organize their career plans. This year, PBCM will be implemented with 2 agendas, namely a Seminar on the first day and continued with mentoring on the second and third days. On this first agenda, a seminar and talk show will be held that will discuss strategies and effective steps that must be prepared in the world of work which will be held offline on the first day. While on the second agenda, mentoring will be carried out by raising the topic of developing soft skills and hard skills on the second and third days which will be held offline as well.
The first agenda, namely a seminar and talk show will be held on May 19, 2025, which will take place at the Soepoyo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . In this activity, students will be given a presentation of material that will be delivered by 2 external and internal speakers. These speakers will explain and discuss strategies and effective steps that must be prepared in the world of work.
Furthermore, on the second agenda, mentoring on the first day will be held on May 21, 2025, at the Mindrowo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . In this mentoring activity, all participants will be provided with material in the form of soft skills development, especially in terms of attitude, communication, and interpersonal skills. The material is designed to help new students build self-confidence, recognize their potential, and be able to work together effectively with their peers. With an interactive and collaborative approach, this mentoring does not only focus on delivering theory, but also on direct practice through discussions, simulations, and self-reflection.
Furthermore, on the final agenda, a second mentoring session will be held, scheduled for May 22, 2025, at the Mindrowo Hall, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . This activity will focus on developing hard skills, particularly through training in creating a Curriculum Vitae (CV), which is one of the important requirements in the job application process.
In this session, students will receive guidance on how to compose an attractive and professional CV, so that it can be an added value in the eyes of HRD. In addition, they will also be guided in compiling a LinkedIn profile systematically and effectively. These two things are important elements that can increase the credibility and competitiveness of students as prospective applicants in the world of work.
This activity is specifically designed for all active undergraduate students of Islamic Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga . By holding this activity, it is hoped that it will provide great benefits for students, especially for students who want to develop career plans. This event supports SDGs number (4), namely quality education. This activity underscores the importance of quality education that must be inclusive, relevant, and provide the skills needed for a productive life.
